Meet Our Team
Jillian graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s degree in social work. Her role with TFI began as a volunteer and a year and a half later she joined the team full time as Administrative and Advocate support. Jillian has a passion for loving and reaching out to those who are hurting.
Jennifer is currently enrolled at Lincoln Christian University pursuing her BA in Urban Ministry. She has a passion for working with children so when she felt led to begin the journey of foster care she gladly followed God’s lead. She is married to Anthia and mother to Jesse (21) and Faith (7). They are licensed Foster Parents and currently are blessed to have a toddler living with them whom they love greatly. Jennifer is so excited to be able to reach out and help meet the needs of the foster care community while working with TFI.
Gary and Marla Ringger have been involved in orphan care for over 10 years both professionally and personally. Gary serves as President of Lifesong for Orphans and together they have 12 grandchildren, 6 of whom have been adopted into their family. The Forgotten Initiative joined the Lifesong family in 2011 and they are excited to be a part of mobilizing God’s people to show Jesus to the foster care community.
Margie Sauder and her husband Steve have 3 married children and a precious 1 year old grandson. Margie is a Nurse Manager at the Pregnancy Resource Center, which she views as a privilege. Because of the freeing, redemptive work Christ has done in her own life, she has a passion to minister to hurting and confused young women facing an unplanned pregnancy. She sees The Forgotten Initiative as a ministry that reflects our Lords heart to the “least of them” and is honored to be a part of the team.
Jason and Courtney Strahm have 3 kids, Jude, Mya and Sienna. They are excited to be a part of The Forgotten family and feel humbled to have the opportunity to bring awareness of the foster care community, spread the love of Christ and be a voice to those who don’t have one.
Clint and Jami Kaeb are parents to their six children (4 through adoption). Awareness of the foster care community played a huge role in their journey to foster care and adoption and they are passionate about helping others see these needs as well. In 2011, with support and encouragement from Clint, Jami founded The Forgotten Initiative and now serves as its Executive Director.
