Foster care workers take great efforts to support children and families but resources are limited and due to lack of funding, many valuable programs are cut. When programs are cut, when supplies run low, when rooms get outdated and dirty, a foster care worker’s job becomes even more challenging and emotionally draining. These deserving workers need to know that they are appreciated and noticed. When they are supported, they are better equipped to do their jobs well.
