Have you thought about becoming a foster parent?

Area Foster Parent Training Class Schedules and locations can be found by going to www.dcfstraining.org and clicking on the red link midway through the page that says MORE FOSTER PARENT SCHEDULES, and then click on PRIDE pre-service.

Meet a local need:

Please take a look below and consider how you, your family, or church can come alongside the foster care community to show them they are not forgotten.

Diapers needed.  Can you help provide diapers of any size as well as wipes and baby formula  for kids who come into care?  Baby bottles and nipples would also be so appreciated.

Other items requested:
Board and card games for visitation rooms.  Some examples are Life, UNO, checkers, chess, Jenga.

Something that every agency in our area consistently needs is Gift Cards.  Kids often come into care with nothing and these gift cards are so helpful to provide some basic necessities.
Fast Food Gift Cards–These are often used when a child is taken into protective custody.  Some suggestions are McDonald’s or Wendy’s.
Grocery/Clothing Gift Cards–Cards from places like Wal-Mart or Meier are wonderful as well as Kohls.
Gas Cards–Often there is a lot of driving to various appointments and these cards are a huge help.
Please contact us for more info. on any of these needs.

Again, thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and showing Him to those who feel forgotten.
