Hi, I have 5 children of my own, I’ve just become an empty nester (which I’m ok with ).
But . . . .I just watched The Fosters (a Netflix show) and it moved me to get involved. I don’t think that I could become a foster parent at this time, I am disabled and it was literally a Miracle that I was able to finish raising my youngest 3 on my own ! !!!! I am very interested though, in learning about how I can help, ways I could possibly get involved. Especially when it comes to helping the kids. I live in Colorado, and I don’t see any Foster Child Advocacy Programs here. What would it take to start one ? I have So Many questions . . . .I just want to get involved and help !
