Current Needs in Riverside County

Our Hemet DPSS Agency currently has a few specific needs. Case Worker Car Kits: -Portable DVD Player -Children’s DVD’s (new or used) -Kleenex -Clear Storage container with latching lid (15 Quart) -Child safe snacks (squeeze apple sauce, crackers, juice boxes) -Encouraging note -Air fresheners -Waterproof/washable/reusable garbage bag or holder -Handheld Games/books/activities for children of various ages -Children’s music Gift Cards: -Fast Food Gift Cards, specifically in $15-25 increments. Advocate Wednesday: Move Forward in Faith

One of our family traditions is to read books before bed.  Right now, we have four small children with us, and they each get to pick one book.  We snuggle on the couch and read before laying the kids down for the night.  Tonight, my sweet daughter picked “Corrie Ten Boom” by Renee Meloche.  It’s a shortened version of her inspiring and sobering story, and my girl loves it.
